Sunday Worship 11a.m.
(Summer schedule June-August 10 a.m.)
Variety is the spice of worship…because worship is about life. Throughout the liturgical year, Pilgrim provides both consistent and occasional church worshipers opportunities for prayer and ritual.
The seasons of Advent and Lent are filled with special concerts and music, art and creative expression. Christmas, Holy Week and Easter repeat familiar rituals and offer early morning and all night opportunities for more intimate prayer and reflection. Lighting the Advent wreath, our Children’s Christmas pageant and a Celebration of Light and Carols welcome the holidays. Services for Maundy (Holy) Thursday, Good Friday and Sunrise and Easter Morning services attract Pilgrims and visitors. National holidays give perspective to worship as well.
Pilgrim congregation usually celebrates the Lord’s Supper on the first Sunday of the month, although Communion Sundays are added throughout the year. Every Sunday, the Diaconate (Deacons) remain in the sanctuary after worship for healing prayer. We call it “Making Space for Healing Grace.”
During the week, our Chapel and our sanctuary are open for private prayer and mediation.
